Become a Member

To become a member of the Association of Colorado State Patrol Professionals, one must be a sworn officer or civilian employee of the Colorado State Patrol. No other qualification is required other than an agreement by the member to abide by the rules and regulations of the Association and to accept the duty of paying all dues regularly assessed.

At the November meeting of the ACSPP Board of Directors, the Board voted for a dues increase. Please note that there has not been a dues increase for over 10 years and the cost of doing business has continually escalated. This will ensure that the ACSPP is fiscally sound and allow for additional benefits to be provided to the Members. Effective January 1, 2008, the dues will be as described in the chart below.

Member Dues are as follows:

3. the Reliance Standard Life Insurance Form, which will indicate the beneficiary of your life insurance policy ($60,000 for accidental death, $40,000 if not accidental)

Your membership will be effective the first of the month following receipt of these forms in the ACSPP office. You will then be able to create your user account on the Web Site by doing the following: 1. Go to "CURRENT MEMBERS"; AND 2. Click on the link "Create a User Account" and fill in the appropriate information.

Subsequent to creating your account, every time you log in to your account, simply go to the lower left hand corner of the home page and put in your User Name and Password.

When employment terminates, except for retirement, memberships ceases. Upon retirement, membership continues in an inactive capacity and no dues are collected but a $5,000 life insurance policy remains in place. The Web Site account for Retired Members will continue to exist and they are encouraged to keep using their account on the Web Site of the ACSPP.
