Frequently Asked Questions

   Q.  How do I become a member?

    A.  Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net; click on “Become a Member

in   the left hand site navigation bar.  Download and complete the following forms and

      mail them to the ACSPP office at P.O. Box 150307, Lakewood, CO 80215:

-Payroll Deduction Authorization Form or AHC Authorization form with voided

 check

-ACSPP Enrollment Form

-Reliance Standard Life Insurance Beneficiary Form

-Declination of Legal Defense Fund, if declining legal coverage

 

   Q.    How do I create my Member website user account?

    A.  Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net.  Then,

1.      Click on “Current Member” on the left side of the page.
2.      In the first paragraph, click on “create a user account.”
3.      Enter your “Web Account Name” and “Web Account Password” (you

         must enter your password twice and you can use whatever you want for

         these two items).
4.      Enter you PERSONAL email address.
5.      Enter your “first and last name” as it appears on your employee records.
6.      Use the pull down menu to put in your “Date of birth.”
7.      Enter your “IBM Code.”
8.      Click on “Submit.”
Once you have set up your user account, on subsequent visits you simply go to

the web site and enter your user name and password in the lower left hand corner.

   Q.    How do I update my personal information on the website?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and log on in the lower left hand

      corner.  From the Members (right hand) section of the website, go to “Search for

      Member” (Members area menu), enter name (first or last), and click on “Edit.” 

      You will be given three options:  account settings, personal information, or

      membership.  This is where you are able to edit your own information except

      beneficiary, department, and dues.

 

   Q.    How do I change my beneficiary?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and log on in the lower left hand

      corner.  From the Members (right hand) section of the web site, click on “Forms

      and Resources” (Members area menu).  Download the Beneficiary Change

      Form, complete and mail to the ACSPP office at:  P.O. Box 150307, Lakewood,

      CO  80215.

 

   Q.    How do I switch from ACH (automatic deduction from my

      checking account) to Payroll Deduction?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and log on in the lower left hand

        corner.  From the Members (right hand) section of the web site, click on “Forms

        and Resources” (Members area menu).  Download the Payroll Deduction

        Authorization Form, complete and mail to the ACSPP office at:  P.O. Box

        150307, Lakewood, CO  80215.

 

   Q.    What are the ACSPP Membership benefits?

    A.     Please go the “Member Benefits” link on the left hand site navigation bar of

        the www.acspp.net  website.

 

   Q.    How do I locate other ACSPP Members?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and log on in the lower left hand

        corner.  From the Members (right hand) section of the web site, go to “Search for

        Member” (Members area menu); search by last or first name.  From here you are

        able to send a private message to another member.

 

   Q.    How do I get my Academy picture and roster on the

       Academy Pages section?

    A.     Mail your academy picture, class roster, and other class information to the

        ACSPP office at P.O. Box 150307, Lakewood, CO  80215.  Your picture will

        be returned to you after being loaded into the system.

 

   Q.    How do I get more information about the supplemental

       insurance offered at a discount to ACSPP Members?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net.  Click on the logos on the

        website home page for information about discounted supplemental insurance

        information (AFLAC, Colonial Life, or Liberty Mutual).

 

   Q.    How do I shop at the ACSPP store online and use my

       Membership discount?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and click on the “Shop our

        Store” link on the left hand side of the website homepage; create a user account;

        contact the store manager at 303-278-0624 for a Member discount code.

 

   Q.    How do I get information about the Alive @ 25 Program?

    A.     On the home page of the ACSPP website (www.acspp.net), click on the

         “Foundation” tab at the top of the page, or go to www.aliveat25.us.  Click on

         “Programs” and select the “Alive @ 25” link.  Contact the Alive @ 25 office at

          720-269-4046 for information on free classes for children of ACSPP Members.

 

   Q.    How do I find out about college scholarships?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and click on “Member

        Benefits” on the left hand site navigation bar.  Click on the links to programs

        of interest.

 

   Q.    How do I find out about the hardship fund?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and click on “Member

        Benefits” on the left hand site navigation bar.  Click on the links to programs

        of interest.

 

   Q.    How do I find current happenings, meeting dates, etc.?

    A.     Go to the Association website at www.acspp.net and click on “News and

        Articles” on the left hand site navigation bar.  From the Members area (right hand

        side) of the web site, click on “Coming Events,” “Latest News,” and/or

        “Discussion Forums.”
