Bio
Patrolman Cahalan was killed in a Patrol car accident seven miles West of Kremmling on September 28, 1957. His patrol car went off the road and down a 50-foot embankment. He may have been forced off the road by an oncoming vehicle, but this was never verified. Cahalan was accompanied by Jack Traux of the State Game and Fish Department. Traux suffered a broken leg and back injuries. He could remember some details prior to the accident, but not what happened during the accident.
